Anonymous said: Hi!!! I'm 14 years old, and I love love love LOVE science, and I want to be a chemistry college professor when I grow up. I'm taking AP Chem and Physics right now as a sophomore in high school, what things do you recommend for me to do to have a better chance to get into college. Also, what things do you wish you could have done in your high school years?
Aww :) You have such a bright future already! GAH, I send you all of my love first and foremost. I recommend taking and doing well in Advanced placement classes, not only to get into college but to do well or retain some credits once you are there love :) Also be a well rounded applicant, do volunteering (at a place you like), outside of school programs, clubs, and leadership experience, like student government or tutoring! Make sure to maintain a high GPA and make perfect attendance :) Also get to know teachers and excel in difficult classes to get good letters of recommendation. Be sure to study for the SATS/ACTS or whatever entry exam you need Good luck!! <3 And my one wish was that I made better scores and paid better attention in my AP classes :) 7 notes
