I believe there is room to grow in all the sciences, and discrediting research is damaging to all sciences for the potential of assimilating and expounding/changing the available information and resources.

:) Np! I hate to pass judgement without looking at unbiased information and the actual facts first and I am slow to move with the current of biases and ignorance that often surrounds us. I believe amazing strides are being made in psychology and it is going to take a dedicated, intelligent and caring group of individuals to begin to make a positive change in the ridiculous ways mental illnesses and mental health have been addressed in the past few centuries :) I also realize that a lot of hard science and hard work goes into fields like these and I would never discount the quality of ones efforts :)
