tonightthesunrises asked: Curiosity pushes me to ask you this: what about science, in general, do you like? I'm sure you have been asked long before me :) I would like to know, you know, just to catch up.
Science is amazing. You will never be able to stop learning and be finished, it is the song that never ends, it is the eternal quest and never ending journey. There will always be more to learn, more to explore, more to comprehend and even when you think you’ve got something BAM it changes! Science is beautiful (in some ways physically, really look at some stains of liver cells or photos of neurons and it’s so dang sexy to study and understand and see how every little part of our cells work with other cells, work with tissues, work with organ systems, work with the body, work with the outside world and other organisms, work with the environment, work with earth, work the universe! ) it also permeates into our every day lives, we use science every second of every day and we don’t even realize it! Science is life , and understanding it is my reason to live. It is neutral, it does not assert it’s existence, it simply exists and waits for us to observe- it does not create controversy or destroy any more than it clears the air and creates. It is here for anyone to witness or enjoy, it doesn’t play sides, it doesn’t know your history or care to ask, it doesn’t care about race, age, political party status, gender, biological sex, happiness, anger, mental illness, physical disability, sins, beliefs, social status etc. it is an omnipotent but passive sentinel towering over all of man kind, that is science to me in a nutshell! Sorry to be all poetic and weird
